Solid wood and multilayer floors in all wood sorts can be fitted using this subfloor. With multilayer floors the maximum width is 260mm, whilst that is 140mm for solid wood floors. Acoustic performances improve considerably pursuant to the 'Acoustic Legislation' of 1 January 2000 and the prevailing DTU. The subfloor yields a sound reduction of 18dB. This subfloor is suitable for use on floor heating and floor cooling, subject to the use of Isojonction junction film.
Design Parquet
Design Parquet offers the brand new patented subfloor ISO DB, a two-in-one system which reduces sound considerably and at the same time fixes the floor securely. ISO DB is ready for use and can be fitted speedily. The subfloor consists of an insulation layer of polyethylene foam between two self-adhesive layers of butyl.
