As always, there's a lot going on at the successful family business from Zell am Moos/AT

The vision of the now 370-year-old family business FN Neuhofer comprises an investment volume in the tens of millions for the impressive expansion, which includes additions and new buildings for logistics, production, an office and showroom in order to cope with the sustained international growth. The next step is implementation.

Negotiations regarding construction are complete and preparation work has started
"Negotiations regarding the construction of the new production hall and warehouse on the company grounds are now complete so work can start soon", remarks managing director Franz Neuhofer cheerfully. According to current estimates, construction will begin in spring 2021.
However, preparation work has already been under way since August. Once the production hall and warehouse are complete, a new, modern office building with a large, prestigious showroom for customers is planned. The entire product range and innovative highlights will be presented there in the future; application examples and shelf arrangements will also be demonstrated there. Employees can look forward to bright, inspiring office and common areas that reflect the latest standards.

Investment in a Weinig Powermat 2400 high-performance planing machine including full automation
"As demand for solid timber profiles has grown dramatically in recent months, we will be expanding our machinery with the addition of a Weinig Powermat 2400 high-performance planing machine including full automation“, explains managing director Franz Neuhofer.

The maximum throughput of the machine is about 100 m/min, which will allow the international company to produce an additional 20 million linear metres of solid timber profiles a year.
The machine will come into operation in mid-October 2020.

The total production capacity of all plants amounts to 165 million running metres per year.

"I am very delighted that these investments take us one step closer to our vision and would like to thank all our employees, customers and business partners who made these developments possible in the first place", explains Neuhofer.
