The new acoustic panel adds a visual highlight and creates a pleasant acoustic environment in modern living spaces (shown here: Light oak 7030, wood ef-fect).

They are visually stunning and offer impressive sound-absorbing prop-erties: the new “Acoustic Sense” by MEISTER are a real plus for mod-ern living space design and absorb up to 95% of sound.

“Acoustic Sense” combines Scandinavian design with practical sound insulation, providing a pleasant room atmosphere, especially in mod-ern living environments where curtains and other textiles are used sparingly. The technical construction of the panels with a felt back wall provides effective sound absorption and improves aspects such as speech comprehension and concentration for a truly comfortable envi-ronment. Partial covering of the wall or ceiling is enough for the sound-absorbing effect to make itself felt.

Recycled felt and MDF
The base material is sound-absorbing black felt (100% vegan) with a high recycled material content of 70%. Narrow MDF strips with clean bevelled edges are glued onto the felt. Thanks to the bevels and the smooth, moisture-resistant surface, the panel is easy to clean and maintain. “Acoustic Sense” is suitable for humid rooms, meaning it can even be used in the bathroom. The panel is available in six high-quality decors – ranging from stone, to elegant walnut, to various lighter oak colours. With an attractive floor-to-ceiling length of 2600 mm and a manageable width of 330 mm, the individual elements are extremely easy to install.

Simple installation and excellent sound absorption
The panel can either be secured directly to the wall using installation glue, or to a batten using screws (wall or ceiling). The batten can also be reinforced with insulating material to achieve an even stronger acoustic effect. With this type of installation, Acoustic Sense achieves the highest absorption class A, absorbing 95% of sound. When in-stalling the batten without insulating material, this value is 65% (ab-sorption class C / highly absorbent) – and even when fixing the panels directly to the wall, they still absorb 30% of sound (absorption class D). A big plus: the strips are glued along the entire surface instead of sta-pled, meaning the elements can be sawn in any location without result-ing in loose parts that need to be refastened.

Matching skirting boards and cover mouldings are available as acces-sories for installation on a batten structure. “Acoustic Sense” is 100% made in Germany.
