Flanders Flooring Days has been bringing producers, retailers, wholesalers and architects together around their shared passion ever since 2022. All the key players in the world of soft and hard flooring and related products head to Flanders at the start of the summer. This is where many producers’ manufacturing facilities and showrooms are located just a stone’s throw away from one another. All attendees were initially welcomed there but, since 2023, there has also been a central hub in Kortrijk, where European participants can set up their own stand. This was further expanded in 2024. Visitors were more international this year too. In fact, 4,245 guests from 78 countries came to the third edition of Flanders Flooring Days. After Belgium, most visitors had travelled from the Netherlands, Germany, the UK, France, Poland and Italy. The high satisfaction score speaks for itself, with 75% of visitors satisfied or very satisfied.
Satisfied customers signing up for 2025
The flooring event will be sticking with the same winning formula for the next edition. Only companies with production based in Europe will be able to claim a space on the exhibition floor for 2025. Belgian companies can once again welcome visitors to their showrooms. Visiting these showrooms is easy, thanks to the free shuttle bus departing from ‘The Hub’ in Kortrijk Xpo, which transported 500 participants during the last edition.
The exhibition plan is already starting to fill up. This surprising and professional industry event has seen 65% of last year’s participants sign up for next year already. The quality of contacts made plays a significant role here. Three quarters of visitors hold either joint or final responsibility for decision making when it comes to purchasing. Flanders is famous for its hospitality, making it the perfect setting for meaningful networking opportunities, over a delicious dinner in Kortrijk, Bruges or Ghent, or maybe even at the Flanders Flooring Night gala evening.
