The 7 members have teamed up and worked together over the past 4 years with the aim to provide the industry with a standard interface as a Woodworking Companion Specification for OPC UA (Open Platform Communications Unified Architecture) enabling machines from different manufacturers to be easily integrated.

If it takes at least 3 days for wood processing companies to network their machines, in future it will only take up to 3 hours to just plug in, as easily as connecting a laptop to the printer with a USB cable.

Woodworking made izy will be at LIGNA in Hall 12 / Future Square with a purpose-built display offering information and running the latest videos on the project.

The Chairman of the Marketing Group Raphaël Prati will also be presenting the project to visitors and general audience in Hall 12 at LIGNA.Stage on 15th , May 12:00 pm / 12:35 pm.
